What is the best affordable video camera to use to make professional movies?

I would recommend either the Canon HG10 AVCHD HD, the Sanyo VPC-FH1A Full HD, the Sony HDR-CX150 HD Handycam, or the Panasonic HDC-TM55K HD. Hope this helps!
