How can I transfer a VHS video into a DVD?

How do i transfer video from camera to DVD or VHS?

  • I have a: SHARP viewcam VL-e40 (pretty old model) The tapes it uses is: video8 P5-90 All my baby videos are on these little video8 tapes. Does anyone know how I can copy it onto a DVD or VHS? Do I need any software or special kind of player? Any details would be appreciated...i SUCK with technology, but really want to duplicate the footage because the quality is already damaged

Its simple once you get the grasp of it. First take the videotape and glue it on a dvd, then wait a few minutes (five minutes) and take your tape off then your tape will be transferred (copied) on to the dvd.
