How can I make zoomed in video clips clearer in sony vegas pro 8?
-
When I pan/crop a video to zoom in closer to an area the quality decreases (becomes blurry).

Answer:
The simple answer is dont zoom in so much, You dont say anything about the video format Important, the type of zoom you used optical or digital, if the latter you are not going to get good results, as you zoom in (Vegas) you increase the size of the pixels, you will get reduced quality and it wont matter if you use a std or HD camera it will still happen. You could try to sharpen the edges, but its only going to help a little. People who use cameras for a living will always try to actually get closer to the subject, rather than relying on zoom (if possible) so if you do need to focus on one point its the best quality as possible. It would have helped it you had supplied more information. RR
