What should I do with the old charger?

Could anyone help me find the correct battery charger for this old Sony Handycam?

  • So I picked up this old Sony Handycam Vision CCD-TRV22 camcorder that uses the old cassette tapes at Goodwill. It's in great condition, and has the battery with it. The only problem is, I have no earthly idea what charger goes with it. I've looked on ebay and can find nothing that LOOKS like it would charge the battery, even though the description says it will charge NP-33 batteries. The reason I don't trust those ads is because the contacts are in the lower middle of the battery, not the top or bottom where the charger contacts are. If anyone has any idea what charger would go with this old cam's battery, please link me a picture or even an ad if you find the right one!

Did you get the mains power, power supply unit when you got the camera? If you did, you use that for charging your batteries on-board. Turn handycam "OFF" and plug in power supply and there should be an indicator light to indicate charge. If you do not have the power supply, there are aftermarket chargers available. They may look a little different to what you are used to.
