How to know if my PC is HD ready?

Does anyone know of hd camcorders that i can have connect to my PC and record straight to it?

    I use my Canon ZR 930, hooked by firewire to my computer as as a top line webcam and shoot my dily vlogg with it. To shoot my vlogg, I turn on powerbar that turns on 2 lights and powers up camcorder. My computer will be running, I open my NLE, Pinnacle Studio 14 HD ultimate. Once it is open, I have my project load up, then open the import part of the program. The video from my ZR 930 is on the screen, I click start and it records my vlogg. I press stop and then close the import screen, the video I just took appears in the project bin of my NLE, I click and drag this video to the timeline and continue to make my vlogg. I can also use this setup on Windows Live Messenger. And the ZR 930 has a remote. To make a camcorder remotely move, you will need to make something for that to happen. Trolly, boom, you could mechanize those to move as you want. Go have look on youtube and see what is being done.

This is probably only done through software, most HD camcorders won't come ready able for that. (other than a webcam).
