How do you record from 8mm camcorder tape to DVD?

Which way to go dvd camcorder or dv camcorder to convert 8mm tape to dvd?

• i have two working 8 mm camcorders and i want to buy a new camcorder which i can use to convert all my old 8mm tapes to dvd or store in hard drive and not to pay too much. any suggestions

  You can buy a DVD+R Recorder, Its like a VCR but burns directly to DVD, I bought my mother one for xmas. Circuit City, has one from 99-200 Depends on what you want, and they are all cheaper, than a new camcorder. Plus you can always use it to burn movies from HBO, Showtime, etc. This is the cheapest way.
