What are some video to DVD transfer companies?

How to transfer the video from the (small) dvd-rw to regular dvd?

  • i just bought a Canon DC210 and i use dvd-rw (the small one about 3 inches) to record......are there any way i can transfer the video from that dvd to my laptop or to regular dvd? i put it in my laptop cd/dvd driver but it's not work

    It might not be working because your laptop's dvd driver doesn't read dvd-rws and only dvd-r's. Any player/driver that reads dvd-rws will read them regardless of whether they are mini or fullsize. Anyway, your camera should have a fire wire out put as well so you can play the dvd on your camera and download it to your computer. The firewire to USB cable you will need to purchase but its a pretty universal cable you can find at your local radioshack or something. The driver software should have came with the camera and if not, check canon's website for drivers so you can download the video. Then with whatever software came with your laptop, you'll need to burn a fullsize dvd.

Try it this way Use a programme such as Ulead VideoStudio - you take the mini-disc out of your camcorder and put it into the DVD tray of your PC making sure it sits centrally in the little depression made for it. you may have to 'finalise the mini DVD - your camcorder manual will tell you how. Inside VideoStudio you select "Insert DVD" and point the programme at the DVD and follow the prompts and the video is copied from the disc into the timeline of VideoStudio so that you can edit it - add lots of different videos together - add titles/music/narration - and finally burn to a full size DVD to play in a standard player.
