How do you make flip ultra HD not mess up in Windows movie maker?

  • i just got this new flip ultra HD 2 and i am all excited and when i upload the videos to the flip share software that comes with it, it plays perfdct on there but i want to be able to edit the videos and it doesnt give me the option to do so.. so i thought i'd use windows movie maker but the image quality and the speed drops dramatically and it gets super laggy like the image is moving to fast so it just freezes but the sound still plays. i need to figure out how to make it better!

    Well I am guessing that your flip ultra HD's video output format isn't compatible with your windows movie maker. So you can either install the latest windows movie maker available and hope it works, try to convert your video into another video format (can result in loss of quality in the video) or what I recommend, is to download some other POPULAR video editing software, such as Sony Vegas Pro (costs money), or Camtasia (I believe it's free, otherwise there is a free version which not only has an editing software, but computer recording as well.) try to figure out what the format of the video as hd videos recorded by flip can't be recongnised by windows movie maker directly which prefers avi/wmv. You need to get some software like handbrake to convert to avi/wmv first.
