Would this fish eye lens fit my camcorder?
-
The website says 'Compatible with any mobile phone camera with lens smaller than 9.5mm'. My camcorders lens says F=5.7mm and F:2.5 above it. Would the fish eye lens work? The fish eye lens is supposed to be for a smart phone's camera but because my camcorder is a a pocket one with a small lens I thought it would fit maybe. Also my camcorder is HD. Would the lens reduce the quality in any way. Thanks P.S. My camcorder is a Toshiba Camileo S30

Answer:
i doubt it would work. an adapter like this works by changing the focal length of the main lens. That shift would put everything out of focus unless the lens was the kind that can re-adjust focus. Most small camcorders, including the Camileo S30 have fixed position lens that does not move to focus.
