How to delete videos from a camcorder?

Questions about the JVC Everio Camcorder!?

I bought the JVC Everio camcorder about two years ago? Maybe a bit over 2 years anyways I hooked up the camcorder to my laptop and videos I've deleted from the camcorder went on my computer? I guess when I deleted them they saved on the recovery disk? I really don't know. So is there a way to delete the videos, tell me any information if you understand my question. If you have this camcorder tell me some things you don't like about or if you do like things about it, please mention. I really haven't used it much. Thanks in advance! :)

Your question is a little bit confusing .. let's see.. are you asking .. your jvc is hooked up to your computer and you deleted the video on your camcorder. 1. did your videos went to your computer? the answer is NO 2. saved on recovery disk? the answer is NO I have a JVC everio too and I can delete the videos from the camcorder itself or while hooked up to my laptop.
