What camcorder should I buy?

What camcorder should i buy? PLZ HELP!!!?

  • ok, so i'm getting a new camcorder. i want to spend around $300 dollars. I want to be able to hook it up to my computer and edit the videos using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pack software. What camcorder/video camera (don't know the difference) would work best? I had a video camera that used little DVD's and it wouldn't put the videos on my computer. Is that just because i didn't have the program that came with the video camera? o, and i want to have good zoom. if u have any suggestions, PLZ comment!! thnx
