How do i upload pics from my camera onto my computer?

  • I have a Sony 1445539 digital camera (cyber-shot?) and a Windows Vista Toshiba Laptop how do i upload?? thanks... :)

    Normally digital cameras come with software that allows you to download your pictures, but I prefer not to use the software. If you do not have software, you can access your pictures by going into the camera drive. 1. Click Start 2. Click Computer 3. Then you should see a drive for your camera, it may be called Removable Disk. Once you find it, double-click on it. 4. Then you should see some folders. So you must go into the folders until you find your pictures 5. Then click Organize and then click Select All, which will highlight all of your pictures 6. Then click Organize and then click Copy 7. Then click Start and click Pictures 8. Then click Organize and then click Paste, which will copy your pictures into your Pictures folder

The model number you stated is not correct. Install the software on your PC that came with the camera first. Connect the cam using the USB able that came with the camera. Turn camera on. Your PC should recognize the camera as "A New Device" (you may or may not hear a sound from the PC when this happens). An imaging program may open up automatically and then you can go through the menus to download the images from the cam to your PC. If not, locate the camera using Windows Explorer. You should see the camera listed just like it were a new Drive. Click on it and find a folder than may be say Photos or Images. Click on that and your pictures should be listed as numerical files. Right click on one or highlight them all and chose Copy and then paste them in a new folder on your PC (My Photos) or where ever you want.

since the advice they just gave you is wrong and i know this for a fact because i have a toshiba laptop with vista on it too and there is no place on it to put a memory card into which really sux what your gonna need is an external USB memory card reader hey look i had a hard time with that laptop too i really screwed it up too cause it was so fast and everything and i loved it however i put to many damn stuff on it that it slowed down to like a snail i swear not saying that you will do that or have just warning kinda.

if you have a memory card in the camera, stick it into a slot in your laptop which should be in the front of it. then click download when it appears on the computer screen.

you can either use a USB cable or if you have a memory card, just stick it into your computer.

plug the camera's USB into your laptop. There should be a msg that comes up on the screen to let you know its connected nd they will ask what options you want to take.. choose upload
