How do i convince my mom to let me get a webcam?

  • My mom is wicked over protective when it comes to computers and stuff. I want to get a webcam and I know she will say "NO you're not getting a webcam so some creep can find you and take you away!" UM NO that won't ever happen! I really want a webcam so I can do live shows on a website called blogtv. Please help me with suggestions to help persuade my mom. No rude comments =)

    if you are under 16, I wouldn't want you to have a webcam if you were my daughter. sometimes parents use logical excuses like pedophiles to not pay for things that they just think would be expensive. you should pull the money together and buy one in a few months yourself and see if she even notices

I'm with your mom. According to your profile, you're 13. You don't need to be doing "live shows" on blogtv, whatever that is. What are you going to put on your live shows? Like what cute boys just got to Jr. High? How totally cool the Hannah Montana concert was?

have you exsplained to her why you wont one she may be freightened that it may be used to do other things on the web . it is very dangerous on the web and i can understand her concerns have you tryed buying her some flowers your mom is the most important person you will ever have in your life . just take it easy dont nag her this will not work just tell her what you want to do best of luck
