You may be tempted by the price but avoid them like a deer avoids a mountain lion. The Flip has several issues, first and foremost, any flip with a rechargeable battery, will have battery issues, leading you to replace that said battery, multiple times over the life of the camcorder. No ability to focus or Zoom. They stopped manufacturing them over a year ago. But don't just trust my position, this video says it better - http://youtu.be/MfYNyiBSbRk
