Does a Flip Ultra Camcorder have good recording quality?

Im looking for a camera/camcorder-under $300- good quality and auto focus for recording makeup tutorials?

  The last thing you should want if your doing that type of video, is Auto focus. You should be more concerned if the camcorder has a Manual Mode. With Manual Mode, when shooting your video, when your showing a product to your viewers, when you shove something close to lens, the camcorder will not go into fits trying to focus like it would if you had the camcorder in Easy or Auto Mode.. Also, in Manual Mode, when you did shove that item up to the lens, both the item and you would be in focus, at the same time, That is the way you would be shooting a make up video.
