How Do You Put Video from Camcorder Tape to your Computer?

  • I'm trying to copy videos from my camcorder to my computer so i can burn them into DVD's but when i plug in the USB cord from my camcorder to computer all it copies is the "memory card files"... How do i get the videos on "tape" not "memory card" to my computer??? Help would be appreciated

You can do this with StashSpace.Com Just send them your tapes and they will digitize them for you. You can get back DVDs right away or watch, share, edit, and create custom DVDs. You need a firewire cable and make sure your camera is not set to photo mode or anything like that. Once you get a firewire cable and card for your PC you need some basic editing software to capture, like Windows Movie Maker.
