What is a good camcorder with night vision?

  • I'm looking for a good camcorder with night vision capabilities. I will use it for my paranormal research group, as we are investing in more equipment. Our budget is 300$ or less. Anything slightly over won't be that big of a problem.

Any old camcorder will work. In fact, the lower the resolution, the better. TV ghost hunters claim that any blip on the images recorded is a ghost. With a low resolution camera, the pixels would be bigger, and thus it would be much easier to claim that you have taken a picture of a ghost. Seriously, you need to realize that the standard for paranormal investigations is no standard at all. Don't sweat the details: just shout "ghost" at every opportunity, like the professionals do.

Do not buy a camcorder, buy a day/nite camera with IR and attatched it to a DVR this will record in slow motion.
