Displaying video from dvd cam to laptop?
-
I have a hitachi dz-mv550A dvd cam. I hooked up the a/v cable from dvd cam to my laptops S video in. But, no video is displayed on my laptop screen. I cannot find the disk (driver disk?) that came w/ my camera. I also tried using the usb cable from camera to usb port on laptop. Now, I receive "cannot find source..." or something like that. Normally, I think I had only used this usb cable to download the video I had already taken to my laptop. But, I need to only view what the camera is viewing on my laptop screen. Any help and also sites to find the drivers (did not see any s/w downloads on the hitachi website) I need will be greatly appreciated.
