How do I choose the right digital camcorder?

New to the Film Industry and Looking for help finding the right Camcorder , to Produce My Films?

• I'm new to the Film Industry and am an Inspiring Film Director, Looking for the right Camcorder to start producing, at the moment Indie style movies. Of course there Indie style because, I haven't the funding for the major equipment yet. Looking for peoples points of view on whats out there, and what is a good price range to expect to pay. This is something I'm serious about and looking all the time for the right knish, I haven't found the right Camcorder yet So I'm Looking for other professionals or entry levelers Opinions.

  first off, do you have any technical experience using camorders or using NLE's...? If you don't you may want to go to your local community college and take a beginning course of video production. This will get you the basics and let you use a variety of cameras so that you can make an informed choice... Movie making has a ton of different process'. Just an idea of what you want to do isn't going to cut it if you're really serious about this.
