How do you upload videos from a HDD camcorder?

How do I upload videos to my laptop from my Hitatchi C22 Camcorder?

  • Well yesterday I bought a Hitatchi C22 Camcorder, and today I've been filming away, then I came to uploading my videos... I connected the Camcorder up to my Windows XP laptop via USB cable and the options box came up asking me want I'd like to do, but there was no options to upload videos! It was just photos or print photos off, etc. So I actually did try selecting upload photos - because my old camera allowed me to upload videos via the pictures selection, but this one didn't let me it just said no items/pictures to download or something like that? So in a nutshell what I'd like to know is how I upload my videos via my Hitatchi C22 Camcorder to my Windows XP laptop. Thanks!

    My canon camcorder is this way. I have to go to MyComputer and open the camera as a drive, search in all files and find your videos. Copy/paste from the camera to your videos folder. You can also use a USB card reader and do the same thing.
