What should I look for when buying a digital camcorder?

What do you want to use it for? What kind of price range? What features do you need it to have? Answers to these questions are essential for us to give an answer that's targeted to you. You should look for one that has digital zooming, because you can't always get close up on the object that you want to take a picture or record. Before you buy, you might want to try it out holding it and making sure that it will be comfortable in your hand. I think that the brand you should buy is either Sony or Canon. I would say you want ease of use over all the bells and whistles that some models come with. I would look into Kodak, they have a line of EasyShare Digital Camera's that are supreme, and they have camcorders as well.
