A problem with my Sony Camcorder.

I hav a problem downloading videos and pics from my sony dvd camcorder. can anyone help?

im a medical doctor ... so i need advice from the technically sound guyns n gals.... i have been using this sony dvd cam corder... amazing thing i shud say... for the past year i hav had no hitch.... capturing and downloading videos and pics.... but this morning when i tried to downlaod some videos i had shot yesterday, i see a pop up which says i need to download the macromedia flash player.... when i tried downloadinh the same I am told that i have the latest version already installed in my comp. Im at my wits end... can someone help please? is this a virus or something? does anyone else face the same problem?

I face this problem as well.I even installed the latest version of macromedia 4 times,Then i connect my sony camcorder,And wham the pop-up appears.I have never got past this point.
