How can i record the streaming video like real player recording using the real alternative?

i have a big problem while i using the real alternative..i want to download the streaming video..but i don't know how to locate or find the correct plug-in..before this i'm using the real player..and its recording just doing fine..but after i've installed the real alternative,i cant even download the streaming video anymore..can anyone help me regarding on this problem? sorry if my english language little bit lack..thanks for helping..thanks..=(

You can try liteCam, I've been using it for few months to record YouTube videos and pretty happy with it. I've tried several programs, and it works the best for recording short (5-20 minutes) streaming videos.
