How can I transfer video from tapes to my computer?

I have old tapes from an 8mm video recorder and VHSC how can I transfer them to computer W/O camera working?

By the time you get the devices its just as cheap to send them to a company to do it for you. They will put them onto a external drive so that you can edit them yourself. as you dont have a player then you will need something to play them on. VHS-C is ok as you probably have a Vhs player but the 8mm will be harder. I wish you luck RR

You can do it yourself with the vhs-c tapes but not the 8mm, you will have to send them out to done. **If you have an analog (VHS) (vhs-c)camcorder… You need an analog converter, either internal card or external such as the dazzle. It's very easy to use and come with good software. You would hook your analog VHS (vhs-c) camera or VCR to the analog converter, the dazzle and then hook the dazzle to your PC. The dazzle cost around 85.00 , but worth the money if you have a lot of VHS to tapes to convert. **Please Note There is no 8mm or Hi 8 to VHS Adapter that currently exsists. This type of VHS Adapter only exists with VHS-C tape
