How do i hook up my camera to my computer?

You need a USB cord that originally came with the camera. Is this a camcorder or just a plain camera? For videos, you need special programs to edit, and for pictures, I think you could just use the program, Paint that should be originally installed on your computer.

Assuming the your camera is digital, it should include a firewire port. To use it, you will have to buy a 4-pin firewire cord that connects from your computer to you camcorder. First check if both your computer and camcorder have a firewire port. there's quite a number of ways to connect your cam to your pc: 1. most commonly used nowadays is connecting your cam via "usb chord" by then your pc should detect your cam instantly... if not then try installing the cd that came with your cam when you first bought it... 2. another way is via "fire wire chord" well this chord looks quite similar to the usb, the only difference is the chords plug... (none the less it should work the same... ) 3. well if your cam has direct blue tooth / infra red then turn it on and so as the blue tooth / infra red device in your pc and your good to go! 4. last but not the least is via RCA chord (you know, the red yellow and white chords) its quite Jurassic but what the hell it still works lol! there you go! not one but four diff. ways to hook your cam to your pc! :) hope this helps :D

yea go to a store and ask for a usb cord and show the man your camera and hell buy you one =)
