How to remove jammed cassette from camcorder?

• I have a SOny TRV340 Digital 8 camcorder with a cassette that is jammed. Does anyone know how to remove the cassette manually? I've tried to reset the camcorder using the Sony FAQ suggestion and it did not work. The cassette will drop but the door will not pop open and it then will go back up. The camcorder works fine otherwise. ANy help would be appreciated.
