How to make another copy of a video tape?

How do you transfer a video or media file from soft copy (computer) onto a DVD tape?

• Some video-compilation vendors require the format to be in DVD tape, but all of us are clueless because isn't DVD tape kind of outdated? Plus, since we've edited with video-editing software, how do we transfer it back into a tape? Our computers have no drives suitable for tapes. hence, we're in trouble, please help! many thanks!

  What exactly do you mean by DVD tape ?? It is either a DVD - OR - it is a tape , cannot be both at the same time. If you have already edited it what are you expecting a "video-compilation vendor" to do for you ??? if you have done the editig and you want a DVD just burn it yourself on your own computer - what editing software did you use - it is quite possible it will help you burn the DVD - if not do you have Nero or something similar. Bottom line - do it yourself.
