You need a PDF writer to convert it into PDF. If you don't have you can get your document converted online for free. Here is the link: http://www.primopdf.com/ good luck !

This was my project 1 month ago. For it I have searched several resources. I found the following link best in that http://www.doc2pdf.net/converter/ because it keeps your formatting correct. It is a web service so NO NEED TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING. For getting more resources you can write in any search engine "word to pdf" or "doc to pdf" or "doc to pdf converter" etc.

Let's hope you had Word before you installed Acrobat. Then Adobe installed a couple of icons on the toolbar to let you do what you want. Or, from the menu, Acrobat >> Convert to Adobe PDF

Download Adobe Acrobat 8 Reader as freeware. It will automatically include conversion features on both the toolbar in Word and Acrobat.

Pdf995, PrimoPDF or CutePDF are free alternatives to Adobe Acrobat which will allow you to save your document to PDF format. Once one of these are installed you can simply "print" from your document to PDF. If you don't want to download software you can convert your document online for free at pdfonline.com If you have Adobe Acrobat then you should be able to just "print" to PDF from your Word document.

You need Adobe Acrobat.

Unfortunately, you'll have to spend money on Adobe Acrobrat. Even though you already have MS Office installed on your system, OpenOffice which is a free alternative to Office has built - in pdf creation. Did I say OpenOffice is free. But I'm sure someone will know of an alternative stand-alone pdf creator. I just can't think of anything right off the top of my head other than the free OpenOffice.

It is pretty easy. You need CutePDF. (http://www.cutepdf.com/) The basic version is free. When you install it, it shows up as a printer in your printers and faxes. It basically emulates a printer. After you have CutPDF installed, open your document in MS Word, then print it and select CutePDF as the printer. Then CutePDF will ask you where you want to save the file. It will save a PDF version of your word file.
