What is a good career in the computer field?

How do you get a career in the computer support field with a degree, but no experience in the field?

I have a job, and have applied even within my own company for a PC Support job, but they told me they filled the position with someone who has more experience. No kidding. I'm pretty up front about that fact with every interview I've ever been through for this type of job. It's kind of frustrating. How do I get experience when no one will give me any?
Answer:

Two way. One is just plain lucky. The other is somewhat 'cheat' on your resume. That is how good you sell yourself on your curriculm vitae, not only on academic qualifications. Improve on that and you will have more success. Get someone to help you on that.
