I need help deciding on a major in the medical field.

I need some help picking out a laptop, please!?

  • Hey there, people of Y!A. I need some help deciding on a laptop. I am a student hoping to get a major in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My question is, Should I get the Macbook Pro (15-Inch), or the HP Envy 15 Series? Both seem great, but I just wanted to know if anyone knows which laptop would be better for the medical field. Also, I am not trying to start a debate between Mac and PC. I like them both, so I am completely unbiased when it comes to the brand. I'm just tied between a couple choices, and I need some opinions. Thanks a bunch guys!

    Macs run close to double the $$ for the same hardware. I'd definitely go for the Windows 7 laptop Simply put, if you are not dependent on Apple-only applications, there is no reason to buy one

I would get the HP Envy 15. You get SO MUCH MORE out of the Envy 15 for so much cheaper than the MacBook Pro 15. Plus, a lot of the features that you can get out of the Envy 15 aren't even found in the most expensive MacBook avaiable. In fact, Macs don't even have it (ex: 8GB of RAM and a 7200RPM hard drive - MacBooks have 4GB RAM and a 5400RPM hard drive.)

Go for HP...Its worth than Mac I have 2 HP notebooks,I have no issues with them.. I have HP Envy 15 and HP DV6-6165tx
