How do I clear my search?

How do i clear history in the search option in search option of the start button. Please help me.?

• I want to clear my search history in the search option of the start button. Please listen when we click the start button we find an option named SEARCH and when we click on it we get a few options if we click ALL FILES AND FOLDERS and in that if we want to clear history how do we do it? Please help me.

• Answer:

  1) In the menu bar, there is a little icon called SETTINGS.. Click on that and then another window comes up. That is called the Settings window.. Go t the T section and click on toolbar settings. Another window comes up and it states clear toolbar settings and trail.. Click OK and then click SAVE. 2) Then go to start, then to Internet Explorer and then click on TOOLs and a sub-menu rolls down. click on Internet options then when the Internet options window comes up, click on three different things.. a) click on delete cookies and click yes; b) click on delete files and WITHIN that window a small window comes up asking do you want to delete all Internet files(or words to that affect), click YES.... it may take a few minutes if you have never done this clearing before; 3) then click on delete history and when you do this, another sub-window comes up asking if you want to delete all or words to that affect... click yes(by the way.. I do this history thing several times.. it seems that the more you click on that clear history button and go THRU THE PROCESS, the more it clears and I do that 5 or so times. Then when all is done, click OK at the bottom of the settings window that is still open. Good luck !!!
