How to store global date time and convert it to local date time?

Can I change the date of a Quick Time movie?

  • When I import my movies from my digital camera to my computer, it shows the actual date/time I took the movie as the "last modified" date and the "creation date" shows up as the date/time I imported the movie onto my computer. A few years ago I had to use my Backblaze service to recover all my movies after my computer died and because of this issue, it messed up all my date/time stamps on my movies! Now all of the ones I recovered show the creation date as the day I recovered them from Backblaze rather than the original date taken (although my pictures and everything else are fine). So I have two questions: 1) Is there a way to stop this from happening in the future? 2) Is there a way to manually edit the date on the movies I have already imported so I can at least guess about their creation dates and keep the accurate date stamps on them? That storage of a date/time stamp is one of my favorite features about digital cameras and I really want to find a way to preserve that not only on my pictures but on my movies as well. Thanks so much for any help!

  • Answer:

There is no way to do that. But you can compress & upload files to 4shared.com Use winrar for compressing and handling date stamps Edit: Did you extend time. You will get no more answers now-no one even reads old questions. So delete this question and post a new one with important details and what you want. Good luck Edit : Have you tried arranging files by modified. To do that go to the folder and right click on empty space.
