How to get videos to the computer from my mom's camera?

• So for about over an hour I was trying to get these videos off of my mom's Canon camera to her computer that I recorded so I could send them to myself to use. But going in the folders I didn't know where to go to get the videos even though I had this thing installed where I could open them but I couldn't there either. I'm doing this on a Windows computer because MasterInstaller is apparently blocked on my school computer because of stupid administers. So if you know what I'm talking about, how can I retreive these vidoes, like what folders do I go to? Thanks.

  Before you import those photos into your system you must give a path to store. Other wise by defaulty they will store in default folder of system. We don't know which was the default folder. atleat do you know the folder name? If you know that folder name go to start button and click on search and click on videos and select all drives( local disk c, local disc d, .....) and click on search
