How do I get smtp server to stop rejecting me?
-
I can receive email, but I get rejected by the smtp server smtp.att.yahoo.com when sending. I think it needs to confirm I am really me as I am away from home on a computer it doesn't recognize. I know there are instructions online on how to resolve this but I can't find them. They are part of the initial set procedure. Please help. Thanks.

Answer:
normally the server will not accept outgoing mail from an unregistered connection, if you have a box to tick saying this server requires authentication that sometimes works but if you are using webmail it doesn't use an smtp server which makes it much easier
