Why isn't iTunes installing properly?

Having Problems Removing / Installing iTunes!?

  • Well I have had iTunes for about 2 years now. After about 6 months of using, iTunes I kept receiving this same message. I didn't fix it cause I don't really care for alot of music on my iPod. The only problem is that my Brothers birthday is in 5 days and he is asking for an iPod. Since I am the only one around the house who has the most knowledge about computers, I am required to fix it. I went to my "Set Programs Access and Default" to remove it. Everytime I go to remove it, it says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network source that is unavailable". After i click ok, it says that "iTunes can not be found" ; "Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or find an installation package". WTF! I have tried to "Repair" it, and it still doesnt work! I have also tried just re-installing iTunes and it still does not work! PLEASE HELP!

  • Answer:

Why not go to the program files of your computer? If you are using a PC then just go to My Computer<Local Disk<Program Files< Then you'll see either iTunes or Apple, go there, erase everything, and then reinstall iTunes. This should work.
