Is a Computer Science BA degree good?

  • Is a Computer Science BA degree good? How does the pay look and what is this degree outlook down the road? i am thinking about majoring in CS because I have been told its a good degree but I would like someone else that know more about it to give me some input.

    The degree gets you in for the interview. Your knowledge, ability and experience gets you the job. Future prospects? We'll need people doing the job for at least a couple of decades. But if companies keep laying off staff and going under, about the only job that has good prospects is hamburger flipping.
