Hi friends I want to convert windows xp service pack 2 into Windows 7 without losing any data...?

What you need is as the other said, is to make a booteable pen drive, but previously you MUST have a disc partition, a same hard disc with 2 sections, C: and D: the operative sistem allways installs in C: and you can save information in D:

Yes , You can use pen driver instead of CD. Copy the windows7 from dvd to pendrive then install... Select Upgrade insead of fresh installation

No you cannot directly upgrade to windows 7 from Xp. ( Xp to vista and vista to windows 7 if you want to keep your data). You can use pendrive to install to install windows7 but for that you need to download a tool from microsoft-- Windows7-USB-DVD-tool or use third party tools to create bootable pen drive.
