This procedure will work but you need to be very careful when using it. Left click on the Start button Left click on Run... Type regedit in the dialog then left click the OK button This will open the Registry Editor Left click on My Computer to hilite it Left click on File on the menu bar then left click on Export This will save a current copy of your registry using a name you type in case you need to restore it Left click on Edit on the menu bar Left click on Find Type the search string you want to look for (usually the name of the program) then left click Find Next This searches through the Registry until it finds a match then stops on the first occurance. When it does press the Delete key on your keyboard then left click OK. Press the F3 key to repeat the search since there may be additional instances of the string. Once you have remove all of the matches close the Registry Editor, reboot the machine, then remove any directories that may contain files left over from the program you are trying to get rid of. Caution: If you accidentally delete something in your registry you did not intend to exit out of the Registry Editor without saving. Good Luck

I think if the files are deleted and you cant find it in add or remove, then the shortcut is probably all thats left so just delete the shortcut into your recycling bin then delete that .. hope that helps .. good luck!!

Well, I suggest that you install the game in another directory or another folder when asked to reinstall. If this doesn't work, try to reverse it by using system restore if it does create a checkpoint at point of creation. Start>Programs>accessories>system tools>System restore. If there isn't any saved checkpoint, DO NOT carry on as it will reverse other changes as well. As such, try googling Easy Recovery Pro.

You might search the registry for "project igi2", and delete all references. Back up registry first.

In that case, you will need to manually remove the program. In your hard drive, go to Program Files and then click on the game folder. Right click and select delete. If it does not allow you to do this, restart your computer and press F8 until you get the option to boot into safe mode. And then without the explorer, run Task Manager and click New Task. Then Go back into program files and then try deleting the file. If successful, reboot the computer. If you have McAfee QuickClean, you can remove any remnants leftover. Once all that is gone, reinstall igi2. Hope this helps! Logix.Master
