How do i get these fonts?

How to get to fonts that I downloaded?

  • I went to dafont.com and downloaded several fonts (our teacher told us to :/ ) But I can't figure out how to get to the fonts on my computer.. Any & all help apreciated :) :)

  • Answer:

If you're using Windows, first, find out where the fonts were saved. Then, you go to that folder. You then go to Start-Control Panel-Appearance-Folder-Fonts, and a list of fonts will come up. Drag the TrueType files from the folder to the box. Then go to File-Install New Font, where you'll go to :C-Fonts, and a list will come up. Click the fonts you want to download, and click "Install." A window will come up saying that they're already downloaded, but they're not, so just click OK. Next open Word or Works, and you'll be able to use the fonts you've downloaded! Hope this helps!

After downloading the font file(s) you can follow these steps to install them. Just copy the native font file (*.TTF or *.OTF) in the c:\windows\fonts folder. If the fonts you have download is in .zip or .rar format, then you need to extract them first. You can use WinZIP or WinRAR for this purpose.
