How do I burn a movie onto a disc for free?

How do I burn a divx movie file onto a dvd disc while using nero?

• I have some divx files on my computer but they're are taking up a pretty big amount of space. I tried burning them onto disc using Nero but when I try it says that the file is incompatible. How can I burn these files to disc? Do I need to convert them somehow? If I do can someone please tell me how to convert them? Thanks :)

  If you're trying to burn them so you can watch them on your DVD player, you'll have to make sure you DVD player supports DiVX. If not you'll have to convert the video's to DVD format. The best program for that is ConvertXtoDVD: http://sendofile.com/dl.aspx?p=0&uid=1037032585_ConvertX_To_DVD_2.18.zip This version should work, but not sure...go with the first one: http://www.sendofile.com/dl.aspx?p=0&uid=1613197826_ConvertXtoDVD2.1.18.242.zip Have a blank DVD in there while it's converting and when it's done it will burn it for you.
