How do I get videos from a DVD to my PSP?

How can I get my videos to work on a DVD player?

  • I have a video in .rmvb format, but it cannot be burned onto a DVD-R and played on my DVD player. Recently I downloaded WinAVI Video Converter and converted the file into a DVD file. I got the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS (containing the .VOB, .IFO and .BUP files) in a folder which was great. I burnt it onto another DVD-R disc, but it did not work on both my DVD player and PS3. I put it on my USB and plugged it into my PS3, which ended up working. Does anyone know how I can get it to work on a DVD-R disc?

Standard video DVD which include two folders, VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS, AUDIO_TS is empty, and VIDEO_TS include IFO, VOB, and BUP files, so I think your maked dvd is the right video DVD, and you should use the right software to burn it on DVD-R disc as video DVD, you can try rz free burner, it is freeware, and can burn hard drive video DVD to any writeable disc. Actually, you need a DVD Burner or Creater not a Video Converter. the software you used just convert the rmvb file to DVD file but not really burn it to DVD, it didn't handle DVD codecs thing, that's why your can't play it on your DVD player. here is a iSharesoft DVD Creator for you: http://www.isharesoft.com/dvd-creator.html you can take a try, it offers free trial version. hope it helps
