How to put subtitles on a DVD?

How do I put subtitles on a dvd?

  • I have movies ripped onto my hard drive, but I want to add subtitles before I burn them. I found one program, but it requires me to burn it onto one disc then do a bunch of crap and burn it onto another disk. I don't feel like spending that much money to do it that way, if there is an easier way.

  • Answer:

My friend uses a program called BSPlayer to put subtitles on ripped movies. You can go to other sites to download subtitles for the movie and if you put this subtitle file in a folder with the movie file BSPlayer will display the subtitle as well. BSPlayer is ad-supported so you'll get ads unless you pay for the Pro version. http://www.bsplayer.org/ - BSPlayer http://www.subtitles.cz/en/ - Subtitle Download Site (registration required)

The only thing I know is that my brother says you can burn off the TV, and use their subtitles. Like on the spanish channel, or a chinese movie with english subtitles.
