How long should it take for my recently uploaded youtube video to process?

  • About an hour ago i uploaded (my first) video to youtube and its still processing. its about 2 and a half minutes and its ingame footage of mysepf at a frame rate of 25 fps. how long should it take? if internet speed comes into play at all, i dont think it does cause its already uploaded but i have T1 it runs 10,000 kbps.

    it depends on how many people are trying to upload and how busy the youtube server is. i have the same speed connection as you and it has taken anywhere from 15 minutes to and hour to upload.

it can be a very significant amount of time between upload completion and when the upload is actually visible on the site. It has taken some of my videos up to 24 hrs to be be processed, but also as little as 15 min, it just depends. The only way around this long delay, that I have found, is when I upload my videos to http://www.nelsok.com they always approve my uploaded videos within a few hrs, and usually within a few minutes.

It should upload once the bar says it uploaded. Its really easy. Youtube is the best.
