How do you hook up a fax machine to Vonage?

Can I Hook Up a Fax Machine If I have Optimum Voice Instead of traditional phone service?

• I kind of remember hearing there was a problem faxing? I just ordered the 3 services together (cable, phone and internet) and now I'd really like to know if I'll be able to use a fax machine (which I was also planning on getting).

  I have these three also, yes you can fax from an external fax machine and from your modem (if you have one) I am assuming you are asking about an external fax though?? My old fax had to be replaced however, it was analog. Your fax needs to be digital (most new er ones are) if not there is a very hard to find converter that plugs, in-line, between your phone line and fax machine. It is the same piece that DSL companies give to their customers to convert telephone lines to digital lines..
