Help with youtube email comfirmation?

ok so heres the deal. my friend told me to go on his email to activate his youtube account. wen i pressed on the link to confirm it, an inappropriate video popped up on youtube, does that mean my friend was watching that video before he signed up? i know it wasnt a spam and i never watched thosehe joined on his own computer , i confirmed on mine. so was the video previously viewed on mine or his computer?? on my computer. please tell me & explain!! thanks
