Find my SMTP server? Using SendBlaster 2?
-
I'm currently using SendBlaster 2 to try to set up an email campaign for the company i am working for. I've managed to get the subscriptions all configured, the POP3 server was mail.(my company name).com. Now that that works, I'm tryn to configure the settings to send mail. Everytime i try it gives me a "incorrect server address or server unavailable" error. The problem is either in the SMTP server or the port, I'm not sure what to fill in for either. Thanks

Answer:
You fill in the actual address or name of your company's SMTP server. There's no way anyone outside your company can tell you what it is. Ask your IT people. (And you may have to have the mail "sent by" a name the server will accept. Again - ask your IT people.)
