How do you save files to a cd?

Everytime I try to save files on a CD it says this disk is no longer usable and then ejects?

  • I want to save pictures, files etc on a CD. Its DVD-RW, what type of CD is that? anyway all I do is copy and paste onto the CD or press the icone of send to, but either way when I press burn it says disk no longer usable. I tried 2 CDs now and get the same outcome..How do you copy stuff on to CDs? what am I doing wrong? I thought it was a simple case of copy and paste to CD?

  • Answer:

save pictures, files etc on a DVD-RW, first you must have a dvd burner drive(hardware device), most dvd burner drive have DVD RW sign on drive panel, so you must check your computer to validate there is a right dvd burner drive, if yes, you need to use a right burner software to burn your pictures and files onto your DVD-RW disk, I use RZ Free DVD Burner to do that, it's free and easy to use, it can directly burn any files or folders to any dvd disk(DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), such as burn your pictures or files to a DVD-RW disk, and it provides two burn engine to improve compatibility, you can press "Option" button on software main interface to change Burner Engine, you can yahoo or google search and download RZ Free DVD Burner, hope it can help you.
