Attention Computer Nerds: How to delete computer history?
-
Okay, so I was on a site that I that I don't want my family to know I was on, and my mum is taking this to a computer store to see if there's any viruses on here. So i know i'm going to be found out soon. I deleted my internet history already, but I know there's other ways of tracking history. 1.Is there a way to manually delete the hard drive? 2.Or do I need to buy some kind of program?(and whats a good brand?) 3.Or do I need to buy new hard drive? 3.Or should I just spill some pop on my computer 'cause there's no hope? Ahhh!!!! Help me computer nerds!!!!

If you have an anti virus program there is no reason for your mom or anyone else to take the computer anywhere to check for viruses. Just run the program. Hint: most computers have an anti virus program already installed before you buy them. If you have deleted your browsing history, you are covered. Other means of tracking history. ?? Too complex and involved unless your mom is a computer pro. I think there is more to this than you are telling.

Do what liketolisten said. Also, when you go on sites you don't want your family to know, download Google Chrome then go to options > New Incognito Window. That will not save anything onto your computer.

i dont think theres a way they can find out if you delete the history, but just in case use Ccleaner and click on every tab for ur browser to delete all the history
You deserve to be caught! Mostly because you would destroy an expensive piece of equipment to hide your tracks! How dare you!
