How do I burn a DVD on my computer to a DVD disc?

How can I burn a movie DVD to my computer and then copy it to another disc?

  • I need to copy a workout DVD to my computer and make another copy. I don't like to carry my DVD around and would like to leave one in the car and one at my house in case I am at someone Else's house and we feel like working out, I've got a spare. I have a new Dell and it has Vista on it. Thanks!

All commercial DVDs have copy protection on them. There is software to break this protection, look for DVD ripper. Most are not free. Then you need something to burn the file to DVD. There are free ones but Nero is good.

Hi, You need a DVD ripper to rip the DVD files to your computer, like DVDFab. Then you need a DVD burning program to write the files to your blank DVD disc, like Nero. Once you have done it, it is very easy. Have fun.
