How can I restore my Windows XP toolbar?

System restore for windows xp wont work? 10 points?

• first thing is first i do NOT have a disk for my windows xp computer. Recently i have tried system restore and every time it comes up with a error "windows could not restore please try a different restore point" or "unable to restore" or something close to that. I have norton 360 and i disabled it for 15 mins but the system restore still failed. Is there any way i can fix this problem? Ok thanks!
